Charter Hall owned the Secret Harbour Shopping Centre, originally built in 2006, the project was an expansion of the centres retail offering and redevelopment comprising the construction of:
- 4,200m² Coles supermarket.
- 1,550m² ALDI store.
- 650m² mini major and additional 400m² of floor space to the existing Woolworths supermarket.
- 4,000m² of specialty shops.
- four new kiosks.
- 500 new on-grade carparks; and
- General upgrades of the existing shopping centre including of new lighting, feature timber ceilings, signage, mall flooring, upgrade to the east and west façade and entries.
The expansion was delivered under an ECI agreement, to assist the finalisation of the design for the expansion and redevelopment of the Secret Harbour Shopping Centre.
Anthony was transitioned into the project as Project Director in a project recovery role when the project was incurring time delays, scope and cost creep on the project. Anthony was responsible for restructuring and repairing stakeholder relationships, managing overall delivery and also undertaking a significant realignment of the centre carpark which was constructed non-compliant to the anchor tenant’s contractual brief requirements.
